This site is mirov.com, published by David C. Hoke / Hoke Press. This page says what information the site collects, what it’s used for, and who to contact about it.

What this site collects

Contact form. If you use the contact form, the site collects what you type in it — your name, your email address, and your message. That goes to david@mirov.com so your message can be read and answered. It is not sold, rented, or added to a mailing list.

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. Google sets cookies to do that. The data is aggregated — page views, rough location, device type — not your name.

Meta Pixel. This site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel so that ads for these books can be shown to people who have visited the site. Meta sets a cookie to do that. You can opt out of ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

Bot protection. The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam. Cloudflare may process technical details about your browser to decide whether you’re human.

What this site does NOT do

No accounts. No logins. No comments. No newsletter signup on this site yet. No selling or sharing of your information with anyone for their own use.

Buy links

The buy buttons on this site send you to Amazon, IngramSpark, Books2Read, and the retailers they link to. Once you leave mirov.com, their privacy policies apply, not this one.

Cookies

Cookies on this site come from Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel, and Cloudflare Turnstile, as described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Your rights

If you want to know what information this site holds about you, want it corrected, or want it deleted, email david@mirov.com and say so. Contact form messages are kept in email; there is no separate database of visitor information on this site.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version goes on this page.
